Candace started playing sports at a young age.  In school she played on the school's basketball, volleyball, soccer and rugby teams.  Outside of school she played competitive basketball in the Ontario Basketball Association and competitive soccer in the provincial Ontario Youth Soccer League and Ontario Womens Soccer League.

 

In 2012 Candace started playing Australian Rules Football for the Hamilton Wildcats in the Ontario Australian Rules Football League.  In her first year she was selected for Canada's National Team, the Northern Lights.

• 2012-2013: Hamilton Wildcats Womens Team

• 2012-2013: Member of the Northern Lights

• 2013 - OAFL All-Star Team

• 2013 - Best & Fairest Award for Hamilton Wildcats Womens Team

• 2013 - Ironwoman Award for Hamilton Wildcats Womens Team

• 2013 - Hamilton Wildcats Vice-Captain
